3 cups MEXICAN MEAT MIX, page 46, thawed
1 pkg. TACO SEASONING MIX, page 36
12 to 15 corn tortillas
8 oz. (2 cups) shredded Cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese
Shredded lettuce
2 fresh tomatoes, chopped
1/4 cup chopped green onion
1 cup fresh salsa or 1 (7-oz.) can green-chile salsa
Variation
For added convenience, use precooked taco shells instead of forming your own. Or use flour tortillas warmed in the microwave for a soft-shell taco.
