Storefront Properties

Widget Options

The first tab contains the same form for all the widget types. The form for the second tab, Widget Options, depends on the Widget Type that you selected in the previous step.

Let's review all the fields from the Storefront Properties tab:

Type: This field is non-editable and displays the widget type that has been selected in the previous step.

Design Package/Theme: This field is non-editable and displays the theme that has been selected for the widget in the previous step.

Widget title: This is the title of the widget for reference.

Assign to Store Views: The widget will be visible in the selected store views.

Sort Order: This is the order of widgets if there are multiple widgets in the same container.

Layout Updates: You can select the place where the widget will be displayed. You can add as many places as you need, and you can also manually add the widget to other pages later, such as categories, CMS Pages, and more.
