iam punches a tree and doubles over in pain.

"What the hell was that about?" Callie yells. Others turn towards them, but Callie rushes him into the tent to clean out the wounds and then wraps up Liam's bloody hand.

"I want to find that asshole before he thinks of hurting Jami for interfering in his fight," Liam says.

Callie, who's on her knees helping Liam, breaks down and cries alligator tears. She responds, "I wish Jami were dead. Then maybe you'd care about me the way you can't let her go."

Liam shoves Callie back into an emergency radio, and she hits her head in the process of him trying to exit the tent and get away from her.

Callie sniffles as she sits and feels the bump forming on the back of her head when Abi and Kessia open the flap to the tent and peek inside.

"Are you okay, Callie?" Abi asks.

"We heard Liam fighting with you," Kessia says as she looks at the spot Callie is holding on her head. "Did he do this? You're going to have a goose egg on your head."

"Maybe even a concussion," Abi chimes in as she inspects the bump that's growing larger.

"He was just trying to get out of the tent, and I was in the way."

"It doesn't matter. He hurt you," Kessia snaps.

"Liam held his hand up and shoved me away from the door, and I hit my head. It wasn't his fault," Callie bawls.

Both girls hold her as Callie's body heaves up and down.

"I think that I need to be alone. Thank you, though," Callie says and gestures to them out of her tent.

Abi and Kessia leave, and Callie zips up the tent, but she can still hear them talking lightly where they stand in the adjacent campsite. Callie stops crying to hear the conversation and prepares to intervene if they tell anyone else about Liam's mistake.

But Abi says, "Liam's in love with Jami."

Kessia responds, "That's obvious."

Abi continues, "Callie doesn't stand a chance."

"I know."

"Jami has this classic Scandinavian beauty that Callie doesn't compare to," Abi says as she scratches a mosquito bite on her face.

"Plus, Jami's body is like a ten," Kessia slaps a mosquito on her arm.

"Callie's barely a seven," Abi adds.

"If that," Kessia says as both girls turn towards Linzie, who returns from the composting toilets.

"Who's barely a seven?" Linzie questions.

"Callie." Kessia sprays some bug repellant on her arms and legs. "Liam and she had this fight."

Abi leans in and whispers, "He pushed her, and she's got this goose egg on the back of her head."

"Wow," Linzie responds in whispers, too. "This reminds me of you two fighting over Tyler back home."

"Really, Linzie? Did you need to bring that up?" Kessia snaps.

"Yeah," Abi adds. "You're just bringing it up because you've got no romantic prospects back home."

"I do so," Linzie replies as she uses her feet to move some hermit crabs out of the way. They're everywhere.

"I mean boyfriends, not just hookups," Abi looks her sister straight in the eyes.
