Chapter Nineteen
Declan hadnât felt this kind of need and desire in a long time. He wanted to dive in and take what he desperately needed, feed his craving, and slake the lust that had been riding him for days. But that meant this would end far too soon. And they had all night.
And tonight started right now.
He slid his hands down her hips, over her plump ass, and hooked them under her thighs, drawing her up to straddle his waist. The surprise move made her eyes go wide and a grin break on her lips right before he kissed her again, letting her know how much he wanted her. It wasnât easy to hold on to her, walk, and feel her center rub against his aching cock while she kissed him back with all the urgency he put into getting them in the house and away from prying eyes.
He wanted her alone, in his bed, naked.
At the top of the stairs, he pulled her shirt over her head and tossed it. He knew the house so well he didnât really need to see where he was going to get there, so he hooked his hands under her arms, pushed her up, and buried his face between her sweet breasts. He pressed a kiss over her heart, then turned his attention to tracing one round breast with his tongue sweeping over her warm skin, across the top of her bra.
His shoulder slammed into the wall when he reached between them and unhooked the front clasp on her bra with one hand. He stalled in the middle of the hall and stared at the two perfect pink-tipped breasts in front of him. He took in the feel of her in his arms, pressed against him, the way her long hair dropped in dark waves over her shoulders, the ends teasing his arm at her back. Her sparkling brown eyes were filled with desire and something that drew him in and slammed into his heart all at the same time. She was too much to take in and still he couldnât drag his eyes off her. âDamn, youâre beautiful.â
A sweet smile lit her whole face and brightened her eyes, and that warmth in his chest pulsed. âI never thought Iâd be lucky enough to find someone like you.â
âIâm pretty sure Iâm the lucky one.â Heâd been waiting, hoping, praying for her for so long, she kind of seemed unreal. Even with all the trouble they faced, heâd take it and a hell of a lot more just to be with her.
He finally got his feet moving toward the bedroom again. Holding her in his arms wasnât close enough. He wanted to strip away all the barriers and map every line and curve with his hands, tongue, and lips.
If she was heaven-sent, he planned to worship for a good long time. Forever, maybe.
Right now, heâd start with tonight and dive into this moment knowing everything would be different in the morning.
Sheâd be his.
Just like she was now, but more.
