Start out in the county’s capital city of Truro, making time for a morning flat white at the excellent 108 Coffee, followed by a quick spin around the shops and a visit to the city’s impressive cathedral. Then head over to the grand estate of Trelissick for a wander around the riverside grounds and a visit to the wonderful rhododendron gardens. If you feel like extending the walk, various trails lead along the creeks leading off the Fal River.
