I wonder what he’s doing right now. Where could he have gone?

“Do you want a pill? It’ll relax you,” Paulo asked me, causing me to blink and force my mind to return to his upscale apartment.

“No, I’m good. I don’t really like those.” I glanced at the bowl of red pills on his coffee table. They were literally handed out like candy everywhere. He frowned but took two for himself and popped them into his mouth.

“Ginata says they’ve got dried blood in them along with all the other stuff to make everything feel good. That’s why it does what it does to us.” Landon smiled, grabbing some too.

I was skeptical. “What does it do other than make you high?”

They shared a look on the couch they were also sharing, then looked at me across from them. “It helps you loosen up. Look,” Landon sighed and brushed his hair back. “Everyone is really uptight when they first come to Ginata’s colony. The pills help you embrace the lifestyle. Come on,” he slid the bowl across the table, but I simply stared down at it, my hands firmly in my lap. “It’s fine. Ginata wants us to do this.”

“Ginata wants us to have a threesome?” I blurted. I cringed at how blunt it was, but the pair I went home with just laughed.

“Yes. Actually, she encourages us all to live a poly-lifestyle. For so long, women have been forced to service men and their pleasures, but Ginata wants us to be better,” Paulo explained.

Landon stood and came over to me. He sat down and put his hand on my thigh. I stiffened. “We are here to make sure you always have the best time. Let us do our jobs.” He smiled, and I took a large breath.

Paulo joined me then, and I shuddered as his hand went to the other thigh. Together, as if minds in sync, they began to urge my legs apart.

“What?”

“You know that’s how Bloodborne's turn, right?” I gave them a look, and they furrowed their brows in confusion. Did they really not know? I shook my head. I was not giving a lecture on blood bonds tonight.
