Po directed the carriage down another alleyway, which sent the vehicle careening down a stairway. The cart bounced down the stairs as Po, Zhen, and the carriage drivers yelled, “Ah ah ah ah ah ah ah!”

At last, the carriage landed, flipping Po and then Zhen onto the nearby rooftops. They nearly slid off the roof, but Po managed to hang on with Zhen clinging on to his foot. They weren’t safe for long.

A bull officer was still in pursuit. He grabbed at them. “I gotcha!” he said.

Po and Zhen, however, had another trick up their sleeves. They grabbed onto a nearby dragon kite and dashed around the city. Po wrangled the kite and aimed it directly downward. Zhen soon lost her balance, followed by Po. They tumbled toward the ground and grabbed onto other kite strings as they went. The kids holding the kite strings cheered, delighted by the adventure.

Po fell very slowly and landed on several strings of lights. He slid down rooftop after rooftop, finally landing in the street with Zhen. In a cruel twist of fate, Po crashed into the same goat merchant’s cart, breaking it and smashing its cargo yet again.

“Sorry!” Po yelled out.

Po, Zhen, and the chasing bulls rushed into a nearby shop where a bunny dusted her merchandise. The merchandise, of course, was delicate porcelain kitchenware.

The bunny gasped. Everyone tried to run delicately past the stacked tables of fine china. They narrowly slipped by. The bunny, relieved, sighed heavily and continued dusting her fragile and very breakable treasures.

Back on the streets, Po and Zhen made it into an alleyway filled with dozens of ornate kites, each one more lavish than the next. Zhen stopped in front of several drums.

“There they are,” said a bull officer, heading directly toward them.

Zhen had a plan. She started drumming.

“Why are you drumming? We should be running!” Po grabbed frantically at Zhen, who was ignoring him. Did Zhen not see they were trapped?

But Zhen continued her drumming. The bulls closed in, getting nearer. Just then, a drum top swung open and revealed a secret door. Zhen hastily grabbed Po, stuffed him through the secret entrance, and climbed in behind him, closing the lid just in time. The bulls reached the drums and looked around, perplexed.

Po and Zhen had disappeared.
