I could feel Manicâs eyes on me as I opened the oven and took out the freshly baked cookies.
âYou didnât need to do that,â he said, moving in behind me.
âYou take him out a plate of these, and while heâs busy eating, you can talk to him.â I smiled and set the tray on the counter. I wanted to help, and this was the only thing I could think of.
âIâll try anything at this point,â he said and slid his hands around my waist.
âItâll work.â I loved the feel of him pressed against my back. The scrape of his zipper against my butt, where heâd spanked me last night, made me shiver. It didnât hurt, but I was aware of it, reminded of what weâd done every time I sat down. I turned in his arms and his hands dropped to my ass. He squeezed as if he knew exactly what I was thinking and feeling.
My breath rushed out of me.
He made a hmm sound and leaned in. âYou still sensitive, cupcake?â
Manic gave me another squeeze, and a moan was forced from me before I knew it was coming. I nodded, my throat feeling tight and my body overly warm.
âYou sore, baby?â
I shook my head and cleared my throat. âNot sore. Justâ¦aware.â
âYeah?â He dipped his head and kissed his way along my throat and nipped my ear. âYou like it? The way it feels?â
I slid my hands under his shirt, up his sides, seeking smooth, hot flesh. My face grew warm, talking about this stuff. Weâd agreed to enjoy each other while we were away, but last night had beenâ¦I didnât know how to describe it. Intense didnât come close. âYes,â I whispered, my voice catching.
He made another of those rough sounds, then lifted his head and looked down at me. âYou want more of that, donât you, cupcake?â
His eyes were hot, moving over me, and there was no hiding the truth. I didnât know what it meant that I liked it when heâd spanked me, but I did. I knew there were people who liked that, but Iâd never really thought about it seriously. âI-I think I doâ¦want more of that.â
He nodded.
He took my chin, tilting my head back, and softly touched my mouth with his, sliding his lips across mine, then flicked his tongue along the seam. âI promise Iâll take good care of you, Addison. You know Iâll always take care of you when weâre together like that, donât you?â
I did. I knew heâd never hurt me. âYes. Manicââ
âLevi,â he growled. âThat gets you another spanking right there. How many times do I have to tell you to call me Levi? Iâm starting to think youâre doing it on purpose.â
Was I? Heâd told me repeatedly to call him Levi, and I could admit I chose not to when we werenât in bed together, because it felt too, I donât know, intimate.
His gaze searched mine as though he could read my thoughts. âYeah, you know exactly what youâre doing.
