Falling Dominos
Once again, I am facing my greatest crisis since coming to the Academy. It all started because I was trying to both process, and ignore everything. I mean process, only processing. Certainly, I wasnât trying to ignore what I had just learned about my skills, family, and Lilith, by hyper focusing on class. That is definitely not what I was doing.
No way, who do you think I am?
Anyway, one day after Sign and I finalized everyone elseâs schedule. During which, Mimirâs help was indispensable. Mimir actually has a great grasp on everyone's abilities; be it grammar, math, science, social science, and even magic knowledge to a degree. All thanks to the learning appâs data I gave everyone last year being uploaded to Mimir. That and all the observational data it has accumulated in that time. Mimir is constantly processing information from everyone via their watches and my phone.
Heh heh, itâs almost like I have grandma watching over me all the time. The feeling is far more comforting than you might think.
Back to my crisis. Just as I was looking forward to our weekend. Where we would be free to lie around and watch or read whatever we wanted.
I really wanted to watch something with everyone. Just relax on a couch, using Noraâs lap as a pillow, and pretend she was Alaya.
The first domino to fall was Shu coming up to me immediately after class once again. The teacher was talking about Authority and how we are supposed to understand and control it, but I could not focus on class. Instead, I was distracting myself with ideas for making friendship bracelets for everyone. I think I am going to order some kind of gemstone for them. Only, I donât know if I should get one from Earth or from the System.
Once class ended and I was in this distracted state. Shu approached me, quickly like she did last time she rushed me. Chea red in the face got in between us, but Shu quickly slithered past her as if she wasnât there at all.
âLyeh, my new friend. I have to thank you!â Shu yelled, just as she embraced me and started kissing me like before.
This time it wasnât as much of a shock and it didnât cause me to get as flustered as last time. Everyone else on the other hand showed a great many reactions. Sign ignored us and continued on his way. Chea, Cath, and Nora all attempted to pull Shu off of me. Unfortunately or fortunately, Shu seems to be far stronger than all three of them.
âAll of you are her friends as well, are you not? We should be friends as well.â Shu said, releasing me before turning on the three of them.
In quick succession, Shu hugged and kissed Chea, Cath, and Nora the same way she did with me. Each one of them fell to their knees practically burning up with embarrassment after being bombarded with kisses from Shu. The only thing that stopped Shuâs kissing rampage was Felt getting right in her face.
