The Intuitive Pagan

Working with the gods can be incredibly rewarding; however, it’s a lot like making a new friend. We rarely encounter them on the couch, in the car, or at the mall. We must make altars for them and invite them into our homes. We must go outside and visit places that are sacred to them. We must call their names out loud, court them, and listen for their soft voices. We must give offerings, give our time, and also our energy. When we show them that we care, we’ll begin to see the fruits of our labors. It may take time, and you may get it wrong sometimes. That’s okay. Just hang in there. You’ll find your way with whichever god is best for you.

As an intuitive witch, you may find yourself worshipping from only one pantheon, or you may work with gods from all over the world. You might honor only one god or goddess, two, or several. Maybe you’ll have one or two principal deities and several other supporting members. Do whatever feels right. Whatever draws you in intuitively will be the spiritual work that feeds you best.
