Data Table

This is one I use often. It places a table below the chart of all of the values that were used to create the chart. I always choose the “with legend keys” choice because that lets me get rid of the legend. If you use that option, the data table can serve both purposes.

When I add one of these, I almost always need to increase the height of the table to show all of the data. Depending on how much data you’re including, the data table can at times be bigger than the chart itself.

Also, it’s important when using a data table to think about the format of your data in the source data table. I often will format that data in the source table to remove the cents portion of my values so they take up less room.
