18. Save the report as HR Briefing Book.

Step 3: Import the Expenses by Manager Report

When you copy entire queries and then report pages, nothing needs to change in these objects. The report writer can focus on the placement of the pages.

1. In the Explorer Bar of the HR Briefing Book, mouse over the Query Explorer tab and select the Queries folder.

2. Navigate to the Recruitment by Organization report session.

3. From the toolbar, select the Open button.

4. Open the Expenses by Manager report.

5. In the Explorer Bar, mouse over the Query Explorer tab and select the Queries folder.

6. Right-click on the Expense_by_Manager query in the work area.

7. Select Copy from the shortcut menu.

8. Navigate to the HR Briefing Book report.

9. In the Explorer Bar, mouse over the Query Explorer tab and select the Queries folder.

10. In the work area of the Query Explorer, right-click in the work area below Recruitment_by_Organization and select Paste from the shortcut menu.

The work area should match what’s shown in Figure 3.25.
