Components of a Strong Email

Prospecting emails can be effective if you use them as one component of your prospecting plan. The key is to keep your emails tight and focused on what will interest or benefit the other person. My suggestion is no more than three paragraphs containing two sentences each. This allows you to convey a single idea without the fluff and garbage prospects don’t want to see.

Before you even think about sending a prospecting email, ask yourself these four questions:

Does my email have a call to action?

Does it carry a benefit the receiver can relate to?

Does it have a personal connection with the receiver?

Is it time-sensitive?
