“Tell Luca to lay low, then,” I whispered, mindful not to wake the sleeping girl on my chest.

“I already did. He said he was not hiding. He claims he’s not scared and wants a round two.”

I rolled my eyes. “He’s an idiot. Tell him if they’re gonna pop off, then he needs to stay far away from the recently acquired establishments. We don’t need the owners scared out of their wits yet.
