Off they stomped, along the path,

so happy they could burst.

Soon they’d fill their pumpkin pails!

The werewolf’s house was first.

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK! With toothy grins,

they hollered, “Trick or treat!”

The werewolf howled and tossed them each

some crispy bones to eat.

Snarlina tucked them in

her pail, but Groggle . . .

took a bite.

Uh oh. He felt it coming on.

. . . His monster

appetite!

Their second stop was Witch’s

house. They hollered,

“Trick or treat!”

The cackling witch gave each

of them some lizard tails to eat.
