4.3 Custard Pie Recipe

Preparation Time: 20 minutes

Cooking Time: 30 minutes

Serving: 4

Ingredients:

Two cups of whole milk

Two cups of water

Four tablespoons of cornstarch

Four tablespoons of white sugar

Two egg yolks

One cup of pie dough

Instructions:

Take a large saucepan.

Add the water and whole milk.

Let the liquid boil for five minutes.

Add the egg yolks and sugar into the milk mixture.

Cook all the ingredients well for thirty minutes or until the mixture starts to get thick.

Lay the pie dough in a baking dish.

Pour the custard mixture on top.

Bake for twenty minutes.

The dish is ready to be served.
