3.5.4 Making a Filtered Table

It's worth mentioning that in Google Sheets, you can only have one filtered table per sheet. To work with multiple filtered tables in a single file, ensure that each one is placed on a separate sheet or tab. To enable filters for each column, follow the steps below. This will allow you to easily filter and sort your data with just a few clicks.

To format tables in Google Sheets, the process is surprisingly straightforward.

First, choose any of the headers in your table.

Then, navigate to the "Data" menu and select "Create a filter."

Now, you'll notice that a filter icon appears next to each header.

To sort and filter your data, simply click on the filter icon in any column. This will display the available options for sorting and filtering your table.
