I want you to come to live with me. We have a big house, and farming is in your blood. I can teach you the art and science of farming.

I won’t be angry if you decline, but if you don’t come, I’ll have to sell the land.

I know your wife will be a doctor soon, and she may wish to practice in a city near her family. But please know that people in my village would welcome a lady doctor with open arms and worship her like a goddess.

If you do decide to move to my farm, it is my hope that you will have a son as soon as possible. My brother’s grandson is my grandson, too. I want to see an heir to my land before I die.
