Step 3: You now have to create a new application corresponding to the new launchpad by clicking the New Application button shown in Figure 6.8. The panel on the right-hand side of the screen contains a few fields in which you have to enter information, including the Link Text and the Application Type fields.

We want the application type to be URL and when we choose URL from the drop-down list, an additional button Show Advanced (Optional) Parameters appears. This is shown in Figure 6.9. Note that if you choose the URL option, you will need to provide the URL.
