Aiden

I wasn’t drunk enough to be pushing the issue the other day when I offered to shower with Liam, but I figured we weren’t going to be having penetrative sex in there. Not that it matters, because apparently the idea of Liam and I dating is strange to Ian, and he stayed home all weekend giving us weird looks. Which might have been motivation for me to kiss Liam more.

There’s definitely a difference in pretending to date around Liam’s family or coworkers and pretending in front of our roommates. Ian has seen me all over guys. He and Elliot are used to me flirting with Liam as well. I’m not going to pretend to be all sappy in love like Ian and Daniel, but I’ve never been that way to begin with. It isn’t much of a step up from my normal flirting routine, but Liam isn’t pushing me away like he normally does.

We’re making out … a lot. I’m sitting on his lap or straddling him multiple times a day. And at this point I think I can safely say we both want more. But I’m kind of thankful for Ian’s attempt to cockblock us, because I’m not ready to explain my issue to Liam.

I hear a door close softly, but it’s early enough to where I know it could only be Liam leaving for his morning jog. It’s something I’ve never really been interested in, but I haven’t gotten the chance to talk to him alone in the last couple of days. It’s probably a dumb decision, but I quickly pull on a pair of sweats and a shirt, then rush out to catch up with him. Liam’s already out of the apartment. I pull on my tennis shoes and hope he hasn’t gotten too far.

When I spot Liam, he’s a good distance ahead of me. By the time I get close enough to call out his name, I’m breathing hard. “Liam.”

His head turns, and he smirks at me. He doesn’t stop jogging, but he does slow down a little. “This is new.” It seems like he’s trying not to laugh, and I kind of want to slap him.

“I wanted to talk, and we don’t really have privacy at the apartment.” I’m pausing every few words to breathe, but I’m mostly keeping up with Liam as he continues to jog down the street.

“This isn’t private either,” he points out.

I can’t answer right away because my side is starting to hurt. How does he do this every morning? “I mean away from Ian and Elliot.” Liam looks at me like he’s waiting for me to go on. I just wish he’d stop fucking jogging. “My mom’s coming this weekend, and I’m assuming that we’re still going to your father’s tomorrow.” By the time I get all of that out, I’ve pretty much slowed down to a walk and Liam’s mostly jogging in place to keep moving. “We told Ian we started dating by my birthday, but that’s not what I told my mom.
