Oils

Olive oil, a monounsaturated fat, is SUPER BENEFICIAL for Blood Type A. Constituents in olive oil, such as flavonoids, squalenes, and polyphenols, act as powerful antioxidants. It should be used as a primary cooking oil. Be aware that some oils are high in omega-6 fatty acids, which can stimulate the inflammatory response. These include corn, cottonseed, and peanut oils.

Nuts and Seeds

Nuts and seeds can serve as an important secondary source of protein for Blood Type A.
