Even though PCF Builder uses the same syntax as the Power Apps CLI command, it is nice to create and manage things using a graphical interface, and that is exactly what PCF Builder helps us to do.

To create an authentication profile using PCF Builder, perform the following steps:

Open XrmToolBox and start the PCF Builder tool. For this activity, you can opt not to connect to a Dataverse environment.

From the PCF Builder toolbar provided by the tool at the top of the screen, click on Authentication Profiles; this will reveal two options: Create Profile and List Profiles.

Clicking on Create Profile will show an input box where you need to enter your complete Dataverse environment URL, which will be something like https://xyz.crm.dynamics.com; then click on the OK button. This will prompt you with a login screen where you need to enter your credentials. The following screenshot shows where the tool displays the input box, where you can enter the Dataverse environment URL:
