Assisted Drawing option:

For each grid option, the last option at the bottom is ‘Assisted Drawing’. When this option is switched on, ‘Assisted’ will appear under the name of the currently selected layer.

When you draw a line on an ‘Assisted’ layer, the lines will automatically snap to the selected grid.

The next picture shows lines drawn on an assisted layer using a one-point perspective grid. Observe how the vertical lines and converging lines are snapped perfectly to the perspective guide lines.
