Many people practice kindness. Some do kind things when they feel the person deserves a good turn, or they have the time, or a convenient opportunity presents itself. For others, however, kindness is an aspect of integrity. They act kindly in all situations because kindness is one of their values. Since their self-respect demands kindness, they don’t ask whether it’s deserved or convenient to be kind; they just go ahead and act kindly. Isn’t that a lot like God? And with His Spirit at work in your heart, it’s a lot like you, too!
