Norton writes of what he knows in portraying the Michigan music scene, for he was for many years a musician himself, playing jazz drums before turning to his second love — literature. The author is now a part-time faculty member in the department of English Literature at Delta College and also manages the college bookstore. He is the author of two horror novels, and of one previous story in this colorful series.
