Recap – understanding TDD

In this section, we learned about TDD, why we need it, and how it is utilized in the software development life cycle. We also learned about the advantages of using TDD and how it can prevent costs that arise from bugs and defects being discovered in the post-development and testing stages. We also learned about the disadvantages of utilizing TDD, some of which may arise from tests being as good as the reasoning with which they were written. It is therefore critical to understand the problem being developed in order to come up with tests for the problem at hand. In the next section, we will focus on writing TDD tests in Cypress and how this process assists in coming up with robust solutions and implementations for feature code.
