Chapter Thirteen
Logan Johns
RACING BACK OUT to the main floor of Legacies, I canât help the churning in my gut. There is more going on here than just Thad and his other man showing up at the club tonight. If I had an idea of what it is, we wouldnât be fighting to get them out of the club right now. Hell, if anyone had any clue what they had planned, my wife wouldnât have been up on that stage. However, they hold their cards close to their vest and no one has been able to find out anything about them.
I know my mom will take care of Blayke for me. She loves my wife and wants her away from the assholes as much as the rest of us do. No one wants her free more than I do though. Iâd do anything in my power to make it so Blayke can stop looking over her shoulder or worry about another note and more pictures showing up. I want to ensure she can live her life as carefree as possible, full of the love Iâll show her on a daily basis.
Yes, I do love my wife. Blayke has come to mean more to me than anything else in my world. Iâve never told her my feelings for her because I didnât want to scare her away. My feelings scare the shit out of me because Iâve never felt this way about anyone in my life. The love I feel for Blayke is definitely different than the love I have for my family. When it comes to her, my love consumes me as I try to anticipate what she needs and help her in any way possible.
As soon as I get to the main floor of the club, the assholes have been removed, but none of my brothers are back inside yet. This alerts me to them having some fun in the parking lot of the club. Making my way to the door, I pass Breaker who nods to me before holding the door open. Grunts and groans fill the night air as I walk quickly around the corner of the building to find my father, Bounce, my brother, and Crave surrounding the two assholes about to die.
The spotlight we have posted on the side of the club is glaring down at the two bitches. Honestly, the entire section weâre in is lit up as if it were the middle of the day. If the girls want to come outside on their break or something, we want them to feel safe and be able to see anything coming at them. It wouldnât be the first time a customer was getting ready to leave and tried to corner one of the girls outside. We also have cameras on every side of the building and other places too. Our girls will be protected at all costs.
âLogan, we left them for you to deal with,â my father states, looking at me as I step through my brothers.
