Sweet & Sour Stir-Fried Meatballs

Most people make meatballs in a slow cooker, but this recipe uses a wok and a skillet. You can cook the meatballs in the skillet while you’re stir-frying the vegetables in the wok, then add them to the wok at the end. It cuts the cooking time immensely.

Serves 4

1 pound ground pork or beef

2 tablespoons red wine

2 tablespoons cornstarch, divided

1 tablespoon flour

1 large egg

1/4 cup finely chopped green onions

2 tablespoons vegetable oil, divided

1/3 cup naturally brewed soy sauce

1/3 cup sugar

1/4 cup balsamic vinegar

2 tablespoons A.1. Sauce

1/2 cup water

2 cups sliced mixed vegetables (such as carrots, mushrooms, broccoli florets, etc.)
