This late-19th-century scene of Center Street, looking east, shows Fred Pressel’s Blacksmith Shop at 218 West Center on the right and the tracks of the Anaheim Street Car Company running in the center of the street.

This photograph shows the shattered safe in the doorway of Hall and Walls Wholesale Liquor store resulting from a burglary on December 18, 1910. John W. Walls operated this wholesale firm at 133 West Center Street (today’s Lincoln Avenue) and specializing in local and regional wine, liquors, and beers.
