This Pterodactyl’s got bad hearing, Dennis thought. My luck’s changed!

The cable car emerged from the mist. The closer it got, the more it clanged and pinged and dinged and shook the cable.

CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!

This was not a nice modern cable car made of steel and glass. This was more like a cage dangling from a wire. The bars were widely spaced too – they wouldn’t be completely safe once inside it.

Dennis kept an eye on the Pterodactyl, but it hadn’t moved.

“Not long now,” Dennis whispered to Gnasher.

KUNG!!!

The cable car slammed into the side of the building, its door flung open, and the whole office shook.
