To identify bursty areas more sensitively, the -density-based adaptive spatiotemporal clustering is proposed. Conventional -density based spatiotemporal clustering [12] cannot identify local high-density areas, even when these areas are high density in local area. The -density-based adaptive spatiotemporal clustering algorithm can identify local high-density areas depending on their neighboring regions.

To evaluate our new spatiotemporal analysis method for emergency situation awareness during natural disasters, we implemented a web-based application for grasping the emergency situation during natural disasters related to weather in Japan. Moreover, we compared the -density-based adaptive spatiotemporal clustering with our previous method in a weather topic in Japan.
