I’m getting ready to watch Ava and Linc fucking battle about popcorn when the doorbell rings. I look to Grey, but he has a scowl on his face as he looks toward the front of the house. I look to Lincoln, who’s momentarily forgotten his stupid-ass issue with microwave popcorn, and he seems just as confused.

“Who the fuck else is coming?” I ask, not expecting an answer. Striding out of the room, I head to the front door and throw it open. On the other side, looking like a fucking douchebag is Devin Grimes. “What the fuck are you doing here?”

“Where is she?”

Despite Red’s unpopular opinion, I’m not a fucking moron. I know he’s here for Serena; I just don’t know why. “Who?”

He narrows his eyes. “Where the fuck is that little bitch, Serena?”

“What the fuck did you just say?” I may not know her well, but Serena doesn’t deserve to be spoken about this way. Hell, no fucking woman does. I approach him, walking forward until he steps off the front steps. “Get the fuck off our property, dickface.”

With speed I don’t anticipate, Devin rushes forward, crashing into me and sending us both to the ground. I let out a grunt as my body collides with the hardwood. Twisting my body, I throw Devin off of me and straddle his torso, landing a punch to the side of his face before he elbows me in the gut.

“You fucking asshole,” I grunt, jabbing him in the nose and throwing an uppercut in quick succession. My jab connects, but he moves his head, and my uppercut punches the air.

“Get the fuck off me,” Devin grinds out from below me, blood and sweat mingling on his face like a fucked-up Halloween mask. He throws a fist as he says it, but I catch it before it connects with my jaw.

“Calm the fuck down, and I will. We have women here, and you’re going to fucking terrify them.” My mind immediately goes to Red. She could probably take this asshole, but I’d fucking kill him if he laid a single hand on her.

“I fucking knew she was here.” Devin twists out of my hold, kneeing me in the balls like a little shit. “Serena! Serena, get your fucking ass out here, you fucking cunt!”

A stampede of footsteps sounds from down the hall, and I stand up in time to catch Devin by the waist and throw him against the wall before he has a chance to make it past the foyer and down the hallway. Throwing my arm up, I pin him by his skinny-ass neck with my forearm while the entrance fills.

“What the fuck is going on?” Linc asks, taking in Devin’s restrained body and the blood pouring from his nose and temple.

“What the fuck did you do, you fucking slut?” Devin spits out, nearly choking on the blood pooling around his mouth. His murderous gaze is settled on Serena, and she shrinks, stepping back into Dylan’s body. Dylan doesn’t raise his
