CHAPTER ELEVEN
Keesa
I know his punk ass didn’t just treat me like I was one of his skanks. I was sitting on the couch fuming. I was so hot that I could feel the smoke coming from my ears. I had half a mind to tell Zina what was going on right then. This nigga wasn’t about to treat me like this and get away with it.
At first, we were cool. He would come through and blow with me since Zina didn’t smoke trees. We went bowling a few times, and he was just all around real cool peeps, or so I thought. I thought he would treat me the way he treated Zina, but, no, this fool was really acting brand new. I was going to show him who the skank was as soon as Zina started creeping around on him. I was for sure keeping my eye on her just so I could show him that she wasn’t all that he thought she was.
I was so deep in my unwanted thoughts that I didn’t even hear Z’ come out of the bedroom. I looked up when I heard her moving around in the kitchen. Wouldn’t you know it; Travis was right on her ass. I instantly got sick to my stomach. I couldn’t believe that I allowed myself to fall in love with this punk. I grabbed my phone and pretended to be texting, when really I was just checking my IG.
“Aye, Keesa, you can jump in the shower now if you want,” Z’ said as she made herself another drink.
“Bae, I’m out. But here go the money you need,” I heard Travis say. “Keesa, I’m gon’ leave a couple hundred for yo’ ass too, ‘cause I know you probably broke.”
I knew it was hush money. “I’m not broke, but I ain't turning yo’ money down either.” I jumped up and grabbed the money from the table just as Zina lost it.
“Why the fuck are you leaving her some money? Nah, nope, never! We ain't about to start that shit; giving the next chick money is a definite no. Just leave me the money, and I will pay for her drinks.”
Zina had the nerve to stop my money without even turning to look at me. I took my hand off the money, gave the back of her head one last look and made my way to the shower. The entire time I was in the shower, I was thinking, I’m about to get this bitch!
