Sligachan to Elgol

By returning to Sligachan I could catch up with the Prince again and although I had varied the order ever so slightly, I had still managed to cover the same ground. Soon I arrived at the head of Loch Sligachan and I entered the glen of the same name along a good stony path, with the Cuillin ridge on my right and the cone shaped hill, Glamaig on my left. I made my way southwards until Marsco (Seagull hill) and Sgurr nan Gillean (Peak of the young men) were towering above me, giant sentinels guarding the gateway to further progress along the glen. However, I slipped by, using a side door. Initially following a stream, the Allt na Measaroch, I followed a reasonable path up to a bealach at a height of 300m between Ben Dearg and Marsco. I had skirted east of the formidable mountains that culminate in the mighty twin-peaked Bla Bheinn (Blue hill). From the pass, I dropped down into Coire nan Bruadaran, and followed the river of the same name out of the glen to Loch Ainort and the main road.
