Note

VPN configuration is not a subject in the FIREWALL course or exam, so the full VPN configuration will not be dealt with here. This chapter will only discuss the NAT rule configuration for the scenarios just described.

Requirement 2 from this list is similar to that seen previously in this chapter, in the section, “Configuring Dynamic Inside Policy PAT,” and in fact, manual NAT rules are the replacement for all policy NAT/PAT rules from OS versions 8.2 and earlier. To configure the necessary rule, begin by navigating to Configuration > Firewall > NAT Rules to open the NAT Rules window, as shown in Figure 7-46.
