When I went to a school with other people with learning difficulties (a ‘special school’) I had different challenges and experiences. The teachers were experts in helping people with various difficulties to learn. There is a timetable and classes just like a mainstream school but the classrooms and lessons were planned differently, to match our learning needs. In my smaller class group we’d cover the same topic but mostly our work was different, designed just for me at my stage. Just like my other school we all love break time best of all!
