13. Feral Pigeon

The Feral, or Town, Pigeon is A direct descendant of the Rock Dove, itself now quite a rare coastal resident in its pure form. The fertal cousin is ubiquitous in Britain’s towns and cities, where it displays a bewildering variation in plumage as a result of long interbreeding with other species.
