“That was excellent—a very good show. But we have others waiting,” the announcer said briskly as the three of them separated reluctantly. “You can go down by the stairs and just send the next Mistress up if you please.”

“Um, all right.” Lexi was still feeling somewhat flustered by the unfinished pleasure the Kindred had given her. Her body was aching and unfulfilled but now her mind was in a turmoil too.

She didn’t think that Mistress Crueltongue had recognized her—she certainly didn’t look like herself in the feather outfit she was wearing—but she was certainly going to recognize her shortly. On one hand, Lexi didn’t mind another run-in with the evil Mistress—bring it on! But on the other hand, she really didn’t want to have to deal with any interference when she spoke to Mistress Pricklethorn.

Still, there was nothing to do but close the magno-tabs over her breasts and pussy and make her way down the steps on rather shaky legs.

Mistress Crueltongue was wearing an outfit that looked like someone had sewn a lot of rubies together into the form of a dress, yet had conspicuously left out the part that was meant to cover the breasts. It had a wide split in the middle that went right up to her navel, so it didn’t conceal her crotch either. This didn’t appear to bother Mistress Crueltongue, who had shaved this area and glued a simply enormous ruby that matched her dress right to the top of her mound.

She did a double take when she saw that Lexi was the one descending the stairs.

“You!” she sneered in apparent disbelief as she recognized Lexi. “Whatever are you doing here—you’re not even a proper Mistress!”

“I’m not?” Lexi raised her eyebrows. “And yet, here I am, being announced at a public party with two gorgeous bodyslaves while it appears to me that you only have one.”

She nodded at the unassuming bodyslave who was following Mistress Crueltongue on a leash. He was fairly big and muscular, but not nearly the size of either Bound or Gaze. Also, he had a strangely blank look on his face, as though he wasn’t quite all there.

“Those two?” Mistress Crueltongue looked at the two Kindred, who had come to flank Lexi protectively. “Those miserable wretches you bought for that exorbitant price the other day at the bargain slave market?”

“The very same.” Lexi gave her a cool smile.

“But…but their fangs!” Mistress Crueltongue sputtered.

“Are used only in our Lady’s defense,” Gaze said, baring his teeth to show the fangs in question. Bound did the same and Lexi couldn’t help thinking that the two of them made quite a frightening display.

The other woman drew back, clearly at a loss for words.

“But…but I thought—” she began.

“Clearly you thought wrong. Good day, Mistress Crueltongue.”

Lexi lifted her chin and strutted past the other woman. She couldn’t help feeling triumphant—for once she’d gotten the final word with that bitch! But she was under no illusions as to how long Crueltongue would be caught off guard—it wouldn’t be for long.
