Closing my laptop, I turned off the light, and shut my eyes. The next thing I knew I woke up to the voice of the pilot announcing our final approach into Atlanta. Bleary-eyed, I deplaned and found my way to my connecting flight to Pensacola.

Falling asleep again, I was rudely awakened with a hard landing at Pensacola. Had to be a navy pilot. Must have had too many landings on a carrier deck. As I exited from the concourse, my eyes caught sight of Lee.

Lee? What the heck was Lee doing here? She was waving at me with a big grin on her face. As I approached her, she flung her arms around my neck and kissed me.

When we’d finished, I looked down at her with a big smile on my face.

“What the hell are you doing here?”

“Would you believe a woman’s intuition?’

“Margeaux!!! That’s why she was asking about my flights.”

“Well, we are good friends, ya know.”

“That’s just terrific. My sister and my love interest are best friends.”

“So? What’s wrong with that?”

“Not a thing. Not one damn thing…”
