400g lamb leg, diced

2 onions, sliced

1 tsp turmeric

1 tsp salt

200g dried chickpeas, soaked overnight and drained

1 dried lime, carefully pierced with a knife

FOR THE TIMMAN BAGILLA:

300g basmati rice, rinsed and soaked for 30 minutes

400g frozen peeled broad beans

2 tbsp olive oil

bunch of dill, finely chopped, plus extra to serve

1 tbsp salt
