Soon you will be heading downhill again. At the junction, veer right to return to the trailhead. To reach the picnic area on foot, you can continue walking downhill, crossing under Interstate 90, for 0.5 mile to the picnic area along the river. To drive there, return to your car and cross over to the north side of I-90. When you reach the T-intersection on the other side, turn right. In 0.2 mile, at the intersection with Forest Road 58, veer right on FR 9035 and follow it to the picnic area.
