It is essential to follow these naming conventions when creating resources in Azure to ensure that your resources can be easily identified and accessed.

Now let’s understand how we can establish communication with Azure resources. Public networks such as the internet communicate by using public IP addresses. Private networks such as an Azure virtual network use private IP addresses, which are not routable on public networks.

An IP address is a numerical label assigned to each device connected to a computer network that uses the Internet Protocol for communication. An IP address serves two principal functions:

It identifies the host or device on the network

It provides the location of the host on the network
