Troll Cream II (Trollkrem II)

A different kind of troll cream, combining the lingonberries with currants and strawberries and topping it off with vanilla sauce.

Ingredients:

1 ½ cups (3–4 dl) lingonberries or 1 cup (2 ½ dl)

red currants plus ½ cup (1 ¼ dl) strawberries or raspberries

1 cup (2 ½ dl) sugar

2 egg whites

Follow directions in the preceding recipe. Serve with vanilla sauce.

Cloudberry Cream (Moltekrem)

One fall while hiking in the famed Rondane Mountains we unexpectedly came across a large patch of cloudberries, and we spent some time enjoying our unanticipated afternoon delicacy.
