The moment weâre home and alone in our living room, Ronan yells at me.
âThat was fucked up, Cillian!â
âCouldnât have said it better myself.â Brody crosses his arms, his eyebrows slashing down in a frown. âShe actually said that she doesnât plan on fucking her husband. What kind of nonsense was she spewing? She wouldnât even admit that sheâs walking down the aisle tomorrow.â
What kind of nonsense indeed, my friend?
âNo, not now, Brody. This isnât the time for your bullshit. Didnât you see how scared she was?â Ronan says as he yanks his tie off, then throws it across the room in a fit of rage.
I walk over to the wet bar and pour myself a whiskey. The fear in her eyes when she was talking about⦠me.
âI did. She was holding back tears, and it gutted me,â Brody says, anger edging his voice. âAnd what do you mean by my bullshit? Iâm serious. What the hell made her think she wouldnât be living with us? Or fucking us? Has she not heard the rumors that weâre a team?â
Calm down, brother. Of course she hasnât heard them.
Ronan whirls on me. âI told you this marriage was a bad idea from the beginning, Cillian.â
He walks over to the bar and pours himself a whiskey, then storms across the room, shaking his head.
Downing my drink in one swallow, I narrow my eyes at him, watching his chest heave with his anger.
âFuck!â I slam my empty glass on the glossy wooden bar. Brody jumps, but Ronan isnât fazed. âThe beginning? You mean two hours ago when I found out our sub is OâLearyâs daughter? This isnât something I planned. Or donât you remember?â
My men and I have been frequenting Club Wonderland as resident Doms for over seven years. A childhood frenemy of ours owned it, until two days ago when he begged me to buy the club from him. Little did he know I wanted the club and had pushed him into a desperate situation to get it.
Six years ago, he assigned us to Aisling. He didnât give us her name. Instead, he always referred her to as the client. With the blindfold rule for herself and always requesting that we wear masks, we never saw the otherâs face. But I needed to have her, and taking control of the club was the avenue I chose to gain control of our relationship.
Five months ago, when her father, Leland OâLeary, and I set the marriage deal, all that concerned me was gaining his territory. I didnât give two shits about who his daughter was or what she looked like, or anything else. All that mattered was taking the Family over and rendering my grandfather obsolete-no matter the cost.
I sure as hell never imagined I was entering into another contract with Aisling. She doesnât understand how close her idea of how we would handle this marriage was to mine.
My plan to live separately from my wife was blown to hell the moment Brody, Ronan, and I found out my bride and my Queen are one in the same.
