Juniper woke slowly, feeling relaxed and easy. A heavy arm draped over her stomach, and she was stiff from not moving for so long. She shifted enough to look behind her. Luke’s thick black lashes rested on his cheeks. The tension in his face from the night before had disappeared. She smiled slightly, rolling onto her back, and he sighed. His lips lifted in a lazy smile as he nuzzled his chin into her neck.

She choked on laughter as the stiff bristles from his morning stubble sent goose bumps chasing across her skin. “Stop,” she gasped, trying to wiggle away, but he burrowed even deeper. Juniper squealed, trying to roll away from him, but he had her down. Desperately, she wiggled her hand in between their bellies, targeting his ribs. It was the one place he was sensitive enough to flinch.

He jerked away as she found the spot and grabbed her hands, hoisting them above her head. Shifting his hips over hers to hold her down, he dragged his chin over the delicate skin of her collarbone, then under her arm and across to her breast. Juniper wiggled for all she was worth, but he was so much stronger than she was. She tried to buck him away, and the atmosphere suddenly changed. Almost immediately, he hardened against her.

Lifting his head, he grinned down at her. “So that’s how you plan on winning, huh? By distracting me? Two can play that game.”

Juniper blinked and moaned as he took her left breast into the heat of his mouth. “Oh,” she shuddered as he flexed his hips against hers. Her clit was suddenly pounding with the pressure of her heartbeat, and she knew if he stroked her, her climax would be close.

It seemed like he was going to torture her first, though. He suckled at her nipples, very lightly using his teeth to scrape the skin, and it made her shudder. “Oh,” she gasped. “Quit teasing me, damn it!”

His body shook with amusement, but he let her legs go. Immediately, she spread her thighs and rocked him close. They both gasped, then, because he was perfectly positioned in the cradle of her pelvis. The head of him nudged at her, and she wanted him to push inside, but he pulled back to look down at her. “You feel like nirvana to me, Juniper. I can’t imagine a more magical place than inside your body.”

Those damn emotions… And his words. Tears started in her eyes, and she cupped his face, nibbling kisses along his lips. “I feel the same way, Luke.”

He pushed deep into her body, maintaining that eye contact.
