1 POUND GROUND BEEF
1 TABLESPOON MINCED GARLIC
1 MEDIUM ONION, CHOPPED
1 (1.4 OUNCE) PACKET TACO SEASONING (OR 3 TABLESPOONS)
NONSTICK COOKING SPRAY
24 WONTON WRAPPERS
1½ CUPS SHREDDED MEXICAN-STYLE CHEESE
Preheat the oven to 400ºF.
In a large skillet set over medium-high heat, combine the beef, onion, and garlic and cook, breaking up any lumps with the back of a spoon, until the beef is browned through, about 5 minutes. Add ½ cup water and the taco seasoning. Reduce the heat to low and cook until liquid has evaporated, about 4 minutes.
Spray a muffin tin with nonstick cooking spray. Put a wonton wrapper into each muffin cup. Fill each wonton with the beef mixture and top with some of the cheese.
Bake until the wontons are golden brown, about 10 minutes.
