How To Sync iCloud on Your Devices

Now that you’re more familiar with iCloud’s settings, how do you get all of your devices to sync together so the same information appears on all of your devices.

The first thing we need to make sure that we do, is to make sure that the same Apple ID is signed into iCloud on all of your devices. If you have different Apple IDs signed in on your different devices, then syncing will not work.

Syncing only works when the same Apple ID is signed into iCloud on all of your devices.

Let’s start with one device, and work our way up from there.

If you have one device, whatever the device may be, go ahead and turn on the iCloud settings that you want to choose. With only one device, your information will be accessible on your device (of course), and on the iCloud website.

If you have more than one device, the first thing that we’re going to do is to choose one to start with – whichever device that may be. Go ahead and turn on the iCloud settings that you want to choose on that one device.

Once your finished with your first device, take your other devices one by one and match the iCloud settings on your other devices to the settings on your first device.

Keep doing this until all of the iCloud settings match on all of your Apple devices and your Windows computer as well if you’re using the iCloud For Windows app. With multiple devices, your information will be synchronized on all of your devices, and on the iCloud website as well.
