do find someone appealing, if you feel like going with that person and sharing a beautiful evening or night with him or her, ⦠and it could even be with another woman, but why not? Itâs beautiful, youâre opening your senses, but you donât have to, itâs not an obligation. If someone comes to you [and says,] âIâd like to sleep with you,â and you donât want to, â¦
youâre allowed to say no, thatâs part of the respect, the choice you have.
Itâs never happened to me like that. Iâve never had anybody come up to me and say, âHey, baby! Iâd like to sleep with you!â Itâs not someone youâve never seen before. Heâs more likely to just come up and say, âI sincerely like you and I find you pretty.â Theyâre not going to say they want to sleep with you right away, because itâs sensuality that comes out of it, not sexuality. Sensuality is when you eat or drink something delicious, or smell something nice, or when you touch something thatâs soft, and itâs the same thing with a person.
Interviews with other guides indicate that the summer seminars had a profound impact on how they experience their sexuality and relationships.
Chantal told me in our 1994 interview: âI have been for six years with my boyfriend. There were some things that shocked me in the beginning about sexuality in the Raelians, but we have always been an âopen coupleâ but always put respect and love in the first place. We believe in being clear and discussing our feeling about each other and other people, and are very conscious of our relationship. My boyfriend is a psychologist, not a Raelian, and we have a four-month-old baby.â
âAndre,â a Raelian guide interviewed by Lynn Roulston on November 20, 1994, at a Montreal café, told her that the summer seminar takes place somewhere beautiful along with nature, meditations, and practice nudity, because it is good to be comfortable with your sexuality. My first experience I did not know what to expect, but when I saw everybody nude it was very normal. Everyoneâs physique is different and beautiful in each way and is respected equally because weâre all on the same level. I feel it is very good for the mind because we donât say, âWell, he has a bigger penis than meââ some people have a little one with the possibility to expand it as long as the other one. Sexuality is regarded as something we should explore and be in touch with our bodies.
In the seminar we talk about everything â sexuality, philosophy, business, jealousy â and we tell you how to feel better in your career so when
