Create a respectful workplace where people can take on new work and roles progressively and safely. Encourage people to improve and recognize all efforts to do so, whether they are immediately successful or not.

Task 9 – Be a servant leader

Serve the team, clear obstacles from their path, and make sure they have what they need.

People need encouragement and support to try new things and to deliver in challenging environments. Provide what they need, whether that’s help with a new tool, an introduction to a customer, or just some kind words of encouragement. Help make them successful as best you can.
