Flashback.

Teagan carried the picnic basket in the house as the butler shut the door. Mr. Raul was Diablo’s long-time butler and house manager. Teagan grew fond of him while working undercover over the past few weeks. Mr. Raul would often pick her up from the hotel when she was in town and bring her to Diablo’s home for a date. He didn’t like that she wasn't present at all times like the women in his past. Teagan was more of a challenge and not so easily swayed to fall into his bed. Teagan put the basket down on the kitchen counter and walked off searching for Diablo through the living room, down the hall, coming across his office door. Raising her hand to knock she overhead cursing.

“I want the deal done now. Fuck him, they need me more than I need them,” Diablo shouted.

“Mr. Garcia, I understand your frustrations,” the mysterious voice said.

“Kill him,” Diablo stated.

“Sir, I advise you that would not be in your best interest. Don’t let all of the work you’ve accomplished go down the drain.”

“Miss Teagan what a nice surprise,” Adrianne the housekeeper said.

Teagan knocked on Diablo's door right as she answered Adrianne, “You too, Adrianne.”

“Teagan, my love welcome,” Diablo said, as he leaned in wrapping his arms around her waist, kissing her on the cheek, opening the door wider.

The guest sitting in the chair in front of his desk stood and turned around and to her surprise it was the Prime Minister of Spain, Eduardo Castrillo. Teagan read up on his file in the report on Diablo and Eduardo was the prime contact between the two and the connection to the treaty with the American government. He ran a campaign on cleaning up the streets of Spain and ending violence. So, seeing him in the home of the biggest guns and drug dealer was a big surprise she would include on her report tonight.

“Teagan Stone, I’ve heard so much about you,” Eduardo said, extending his hand for a shake.

“Thank you, Mr. Castrillo, I’ve heard about you as well. I mean you just signed into law a new task force to help clean up gang violence,” Teagan replied, smiling and gripping his hand.

“Yes, doing the job that other people don’t want to do,” Eduardo answered, releasing her hand and buttoning his jacket.

“I’ll talk with you soon, Castrillo,” Diablo announced, letting him know it was time for him to leave. He didn’t like the look in Eduardo’s eyes when he was talking to Teagan.

Eduardo smirked, turning and walking out, shutting the door. Diablo reached out for her hand, lifting her up to sit with him on the couch. Pulling her down on top of his lap, Diablo kissed her cheek, rubbing a hand up and down her leg.

“I missed you,” Diablo whispered.

“That was the Prime Minister.”

“It was, but focus on me, he’s not important,” Diablo muttered, turning her face toward him.

Present Day.

Teagan stormed into the ransacked office and saw papers tossed on the floor and filing cabinets tipped over.
